Orang Prancis punya kebiasaan makan malam bersama keluarga untuk menikmati berbagai macam masakn rumah. Makanan adalah bagian dari interaksi sosial mereka. Mereka mengutamakan pentingnya makan secara perlahan dan tidak menghabiskan semuanya dalam satu suapan. Mereka makan setidaknya 20 menit agar perut bisa memberi sinyal kenyang pada otak untuk berhenti makan. 

4. Mediterania
Diet ala Mediterania dianggap sebagai salah satu pola makan paling sehat yang pernah ada. Orang-orang di wilayah Laut Tengah ini terbiasa makan banyak buah-buahan, sayuran, pasta, nasi, biji-bijian dan ikan. Gandum utuh menjadi makanan utama mereka dan disantap bersama minyak zaitun yang kaya akan lemak tak jenuh; berkhasiat menurunkan risiko penyakit jantung dan menormalkan kolesterol dalam darah. 

5. Swedia
Orang Swedia mengonsumsi berbagai macam makanan dalam sehari. Mulai dari ragam daging, salad, acar dan masih banyak lagi. Makan makanan yang bervariasi penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi dan melatih lidah untuk mengenal rasa dan tekstur yang berbeda. Selain itu mereka juga lebih suka mengonsumsi whole food, bukan makanan proses sehingga pemakaian gula, lemak dan garam juga lebih sedikit.

6. Korea
Masakan Korea merupakan salah satu makanan yang paling sehat di dunia. Setiap masakan hampir tidak ada yang melebihi 600 kalori dan sebagian besar diolah dengan cara direbus, kukus, bakar dan tumis. Sehingga mereka jarang memasak dengan banyak minyak meskipun ada beberapa menu yang diolah dengan teknik deep-fried. Salah satu makanan khasnya, Kimchi, mengandung banyak mineral, vitamin dan serat. Orang Korea juga banyak mengonsumsi sayur mayur mulai dari jamur, kentang, dedaunan hijau dan kubis. Mereka juga hobi makan pedas dan kaya rempah yang berkhasiat mempercepat sistem metabolisme tubuh. Camilan orang Korea juga terbilang sehat. Mereka tidak suka makan keripik kentang tapi lebih memilih ubi rebus atau cumi bakar.
